PETERLEY DORCIUS
Peterley Dorcius is a Haitian artist, curator, and architectural designer based in Miami. His practice blends photography, design, and conceptual works using sculptural forms and other media. Peterley's work has been exhibited at spaces including the Bakehouse Art Complex, Bridge Red Gallery, Laundromat Art Space, and the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach.
His work predominantly explores the multiple aspect of aging and the enlightenment that comes from suffering. Those themes are often explored and depicted through photography, sculpture and other media.
Additionally, Peterley is a founding member of "Les Vagabonds Collective," a group dedicated to empowering artistic freedom and creating exhibition opportunities for marginalized artists. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New World School of the Arts and is currently pursuing a master's degree in architecture
