PETERLEY DORCIUS
Peterley Dorcius is a Haitian artist and architectural designer based in miami. His practice is a mixture of photography, design and conceptual works using sculptural bodies. Dorcius has trained under artists such as Yanira Collado, William Cordova and Maria Martinez-Cañas. He has exhibited at galleries such as the Bakehouse Art Complex, Bridge Red Gallery, the Laundromat Art Space, and the Museum of Arts And Science in Daytona Beach. 
His work predominantly focuses on the beauty in aging and the enlightenment that comes from suffering. Those themes are often explored and depicted through photography, sculpture and other media.
Furthermore Dorcius is a founding member of "Les Vagabonds Collective" a group whose sole purpose is to empower artistic freedom and create exhibition opportunities for emerging artists. Dorcius graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New World School Of The Arts and is currently pursuing a master's degree in architecture at the University Of Miami.
